USE PROCEDURE 1

[If you use an Undergravel Filter]
Lay an undergravel filter at the bottom of an aquarium.

*If you wish to use another filter such as a sponge filter or underwater filter, please set one after laying soil.

USE PROCEDURE 2

Lay soil at the bottom of an aquarium prior to pouring water. Prewash is not required. Using a tool like a spatula, flatten the soil gently.

USE PROCEDURE 3

Using a saucer, fill the aquarium with water gently in order to avoid disturbing the soil.

*ADVANCED SOIL series is made with all natural materials. Therefore, plant/wood fragments may be found that come up to the surface. It does not influence water quality, but if you prefer please skim those using a net.

USE PROCEDURE 4

Put a heater, light, and now ready for use!

*Seal the bag closely to keep remaining soil from drying out. Dried soil may collapse easily and then lead to water cloudiness.

■Before you use...

Read the following instructions & directions very carefully. Do not try until you understand the correct usage and procedures of ADVANCED SOIL.

ADVANCED SOIL is a substrate product for the purpose of growing ornamental fish and water plants. Do not use for other purposes, or it may cause human damages and/or property damages.

  • Keep the recommended volume and follow the instruction guide for usage.

  • Do not combine with other substrates.

  • This product has an effect of lowering water pH & KH. Do not combine with such media as water conditioners and filtering agents.

  • Keep away from heat, moisture, and/or extreme aridity.

  • Do not use for purposes other than keeping/growing freshwater fish and plants.

  • Do not use for sea fish and ornamental fish that prefer alkaline water.

  • This product is not recommended for those fish which dig or play with the substrate.

  • This product is all natural and therefore may leave fragments of plants or wood on itself, but this will not affect water quality.

  • Please be aware that this product has air vents on the bag through which very small granules could leak out.

  • The manufacturer is not responsible for any human damages and property damages resulting from the use of this product.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

  • In case soil gets into an eye, rinse immediately. See a doctor and follow his/her directions.
